Born Camden, Me., attended Bowdoin College, entered U. of M. 1870. After graduation taught school at Owosso then returned to grad. from U. of M. Law School. Entered law office of C. T. and E. C. Walker and later opened his own office. Served as member of Detroit Water Board 16 years, pres. of Welded Steel Barrel Co., v. pros. Berry Bros. Married, no children. (from obit.
